“I started seeing Brad in March 2024 after having spinal surgery due to a work injury related from operating various large machinery in the NSW coal mines. I sustained a herniated disc at the L5/S1 region and had no quality of life prior to surgery. After surgical intervention I wanted to prevent further problems and heal as best I could.
Before beginning with Brad I was somewhat sceptical of this form of rehabilitation as I didn’t know much about it. Straight away I could tell Brad was very knowledgeable and he articulates information in an easy to understand way. Even the more technical parts of the rehab.
My movement and flexibility has improved dramatically as did my knowledge of my posture and how my body works holistically. After my session’s with Brad I feel my body is in better shape than prior to the injury.

“When I first went to Brad I had injured myself in the gym terribly. I couldn’t walk, couldn’t sit, I couldn’t even drive. I knew something had to be done and I had issues for a while before my injury with my lower back and right hip. I had been to physios, chiros and as a former Personal Trainer myself, prior to working FIFO in the mines, I even tried to fix myself with certain training and stretching protocols I knew. Nothing had worked for a solid solution where I didn’t need to be treated again, till I went and saw Brad.
His holistic approach is very different and at first hard to understand about working-in rather than working-out and focusing on stretches and internal issues more so than what you feel externally. But it worked!
I was following his guidelines for a good 4-6 weeks and getting better and better every day then re-visiting brad constantly for new progressions and programs just helped more and more. His holistic approach acknowledged that to begin the journey of rehabilitating my shoulders, I first had to adopt a range of nutritional and lifestyle improvements to improve my physical and mental health so that I could reduce inflammation to allow for rehab exercises to be effective. After 6 months of sessions every 3 or so weeks I have been gone from not being able to put any type of loading on my shoulders to now being able to reintroduce some low intensity upper body exercises such as swimming and light weight exercises, which with time will strengthen them more and more.
